Multiple stations ( in two countries ) reporting issues where relatively low power HF data transmissions are tripping their own, and in some cases, neighbour’s DSL routers.

No apparent pattern or commonality seen yet.

Issue opened to track and gather information.

Draytek Vigor 2762ac router affected. Manifests as variable levels of packet loss and irregular reboots of router. Power used 30W of JS8call on 80m. Not consistent levels of packet loss, doesn’t always cause a router reboot.

Router has ferrite on power supply lead and DSL telephone line. Fault persists even when all internal cat 5 cabling disconnected.

Having the Wifi antennas poke out of the faraday screen seems ‘wrong’ but worth a try next.

Faraday cage not fully effective against interference. Further options are to replace the telephone master socket with an NTS5cMk2 master socket with a VDSL frontplate Mk4. After that options are to notch the amateur bands that fall into the downstream VDSL, making the signal to noise ratio so bad for VDSL that those frequencies are ignored and less susceptible to local transmissions.
